I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in Psychology Pre-Counseling with a minor in Bible. My wife and I moved to Central Texas in 2017 and continue to feel called to invest in the families of Bell County. I earned a Masters of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2020. During my graduate program I worked with families in an agency setting for 3 years and have been in private practice for 2 years. I have completed a certificate from the Christian Counseling Educational Foundation and am taking courses through the Association of Biblical Counselors.
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have experience working with anxiety, ADHD, attachment concerns, communication issues, infidelity, blended families, depression, grief, isolation, parenting concerns, Spirituality, stress and life transitions. As a Christian, my passion is to provide gospel centered counseling to couples' who feel “hopeless”. My approach to counseling is to walk alongside those who are experiencing “brokenness” individually and relationally, while seeking beautiful things out of the hardships of life. In counseling I work collaboratively with clients as they seek changes leading to stability in renewed hope. I incorporate the use of Emotional Focused Therapy, Symbolic Experiential, Structural therapy, Solution Focused and motivational Interviewing depending on the needs of the client.
My wife and I are active in our local church and enjoy spending time with our boy’s. I find enjoyment in music, plants, reading and coffee.
