We believe that God's word and the Holy Spirit work towards deepening application of the gospel in our lives as we grow in knowledge of God. We believe in Jesus, his death, resurrection, and ascension as the center of our hope and counsel. We believe that his work on our behalf has forever dealt with our sin, and brokenness, and is a true act of love by God the Father for those who are his. As his children we are redeemed daily and placed in right relationship with God through union with Jesus Christ. Through the gospel we receive real beauty out of real brokenness that meets us individually and relationally.

We take into account that Jesus treated people spiritually, physically and emotionally in the difficulties of life. Scripture is our foundation of care individually and relationally. Through the lens of scripture we see that we are embodied souls, living in relationship with others in community, and the realities of our culture and world.

We highlight God's design in his creation as our methods are informed by common grace findings in research and psychology through this gospel lens as we seek to care for our clients.

About Jeff Jolly, MA, LMFT:

I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in Psychology Pre-Counseling with a minor in Bible.  My wife and I moved to Central Texas in 2017 and continue to feel called to invest in the families of Bell County. I earned a Masters of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2020. During my graduate program I worked with families in an agency setting for 3 years. In July of 2021 I started Stillhouse counseling with the goal of providing counseling with a Christian lense. I have completed a certificate from the Christian Counseling Educational Foundation and am taking courses through the Association of Biblical Counselors.

Experience & Approach

I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have experience working with anxiety, ADHD, attachment concerns, communication issues, infidelity, blended families, depression, grief, isolation, parenting concerns, Spirituality, stress and life transitions. As a Christian, my passion is to provide gospel centered counseling to couples' who feel “hopeless”. I have training to use scripture in counseling through CCEF and ABC. In counseling I work collaboratively with clients as they seek changes leading to stability in renewed hope. I incorporate the use of Emotional Focused Therapy, Symbolic Experiential, Gottman, Structural therapy, Solution Focused and motivational Interviewing depending on the needs of the client.

About Cammi Owens, MA, LPC:

I received my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia, and Master of Arts degrees (MA) in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education, from Southwestern Seminary. I have 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families in a variety of settings, including church, school, and private practice. One of my greatest joys is to share the hope of Christ with someone who is walking through a hard season.

Experience & Approach

I counsel adolescents, women, couples and families. I have a special heart for the family, and love to see marriages transformed by the hope of the gospel. I find joy in helping parents communicate well, set clear expectations and boundaries for children, and teach, train, and discipline in effective ways. I understand the unique blessing and challenges that come with foster care and adoption, and utilize trauma-informed care to help families navigate those journeys. Although fertility issues are a common challenge that many couples face, it is often a lonely battle. I have unique experience in working with couples facing struggles and heartache in growing their family. My approach to counseling is a short-term, solution-focused, gospel centered therapy, and I offer both in person, and virtual appointments.
